I’m about to say something that many people know deep down, and few talk about:

We in Israel, and those outside of Israel who love this country, have a bad habit of playing the victim card.

Whether it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, or the BDS Movement, or anti-semitism, sometimes it feels like we’re always focused on the people who are out to get us.

Please don’t get me wrong! Our history has reason to make us a paranoid people, and the threats above are real and legitimate … but every country on this planet has threats that are real and legitimate.

Compared to dozens of countries in the world, Israel is in an amazing position — locally, regionally, and globally — and the best position our now-72-year-old nation has ever been in!

Israel’s population is at an all-time high. We have an incredibly strong economy and defense system. International relations and tourism are skyrocketing. Israelis abroad are achieving unprecedented levels of success.

And Israel’s culture, society, and lifestyle are among the most fascinating around the world!

So yes, we should be focused on solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, combatting the BDS Movement, and extinguishing anti-semitism.

And at the same time, we should put 100 times more emphasis on the amazingly unique attributes that Israel brings to the table!

This is exactly why we created IZZY — to put the magic of Israel on display, through remarkable entertainment and storytelling.

Starting this Fall, you can get a front-row seat to Israel through endless hours of movies, TV shows, and documentaries — and you can watch as much as you want, whenever you want, from anywhere!
